Julie’s Background:
Julie moved to Fernie with her family in 1976, attended high school, and upon graduating high school Julie moved to Toronto, Ontario - to further her Education. While she lived in Ontario, she worked at “Carlton Cards” as an Assistant Manager of three Seasonal Card Lines (card design and verse).
In 1990 Julie relocated back to Fernie and promptly opened up a Floral shop which she ran for 5 years. Her next career move was as Publisher of the Fernie Free Press -- a position she held for 7 years.
In 2002, Julie become a REALTOR - a career path that has allowed Julie the opportunity to present many Buyers and Sellers. This career choice has made it possible for Julie to provide that needed service to her clients -- cultivate new friendships -- create new professional ties -- share community expertise and knowledge to all her contacts.
Julie’s Interests:
Julie has been on the Board of the “Fernie and District Historical Society Museum Project” for 8 years. A very rewarding volunteer effort for a great Community she is proud to be a part of.
Julie enjoys interior design - yes, she is a HGTV fan.
Hiking and snow-shoeing are other pastimes she enjoys. No, she does not ski, this is not a typo.
